劇情介紹：
又一部根據熱門漫畫改編的漫畫英雄電影，對於一部並未啟用大明星的電影來說，6000萬美元的製作費用是非常高的了。男主角「地獄男孩」(朗-頗曼)長相古怪，原本是納粹製造出來用來阻止德國滅亡的生物。沒想到後來地獄男孩投靠了盟軍。
1944年，第二次世界大戰即將結束，納粹的殘余黨羽試圖利用黑魔法的力量挽救自己瀕臨滅亡的命運，不過，他們沒有達到目的，同盟國軍隊的一個小分隊趕到從事秘密儀式的地點，雖然他們驅散了施魔法的人，但撒旦之子——地獄男爵(朗·普爾曼飾)已經被黑魔法召喚到了人間。不過，與眾人想像的不同，地獄男爵並沒有站在邪惡的一方，他加入了同盟國，被教授布魯姆(約翰·赫特飾)收養，並為美國政府完成各種難以完成的任務。憑借金剛不壞之身所向披靡，他與魚人朋友亞伯(道格·瓊斯飾)將一切膽敢阻礙正義的勢力打得粉碎。
不過，隨著地獄男爵的不斷長大，他開始露出了自己心底猙獰的一面。在一次執行任務的時候，地獄男爵與曾參與召喚他的納粹邪惡巫師不期而遇，地獄般陰暗的本性能否戰勝善良的感化？地獄男爵必須在正義與邪惡之間做出自己的選擇……
